Happy Independence Day!
I'm thankful to live in the land of the free and the home of the brave, one of which is my husband. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and volunteered to go to Afghanistan, which blows my mind each time I think about it.
No matter what happens here, I know our truest freedom and hope is in Jesus. 1 Peter 1:3-4 says,
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade.
I hope you enjoy this holiday and think about how fortunate we are and what you can do to protect our freedom.
