My dad took these photos and came up with some creative ideas . . . I was getting ready to host a bonfire with family, friends, and neighbors, so I pulled out the fire pit.

When I found this jacket in my brother's old closet, it was love at first sight.  It is a beautiful Ralph Lauren classic that is marked Made in USA!  The Brooks Brothers shirt is American made, as well.  I debated getting this jacket tailored but finally just threw it on, pulled it tight, and belted it.  That will have to do for now!

I had on a similar outfit when shopping with a friend in Belk the other weekend, and the saleslady complimented my jacket.  I said, "thanks! it's really old," and she insisted that it was currently for sale in their store.  So if you like it, check out Belk.

Have y'all ever heard of the daddy-daughter and mother-son date nights at Chickfila?  Well my dad and I went to one.  Last year.  

They had some questions written on the place mats that were supposed to help you know each other, like your favorite color, animal, etc.  It was almost funny going through the list because we had the same answer for each one.  We like blue.

When I really want to wear pajamas to work, I put on a long skirt or dress.  They are just as comfortable but work appropriate, at least at my job.  I was in want of some long dresses and skirts, which is tough because of my height, when I found this long navy skirt hiding in my closet.  It's a Ralph Lauren petite hand me down from my grandmother.  

I mean, this bag. !!!  I was pretty excited when the vintage Dooney and Bourke trend came around a few years ago because I'd been eyeing this one of my mom's for years, and I knew she would gladly let me use it.

Lauren Winstead and the Everlane t
